Meet Our Corporate and New Construction Managers

Mike Davis is the president and owner of Moe Plumbing, a title he inherited when he purchased the company from his father, Charles Davis. Since stepping into his leadership role, Mike has greatly expanded the business from a small family-owned business to one of the top plumbing contractors and service providers in Los Angeles. Through the purchase of several other plumbing businesses, the company has significantly invested in the development of the service and repair division. Additionally, Mike has grown the new construction division focusing on projects that utilize the company's expertise with specialty piping systems. The recent focus has been on large hospitals, prominent retail centers, amusement park attractions and research laboratories. Mike serves as a trustee for the National Association-Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association, Union Affiliated Contractors (NAPHCC UAC) and is a member with California Plumbing & Mechanical Contractors Association (CPMCA), Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) for UA Local # 761 and American Society of Plumbing Engineer (ASPE). A graduate of Biola University, Mike is actively involved in his community, including volunteering as a lay counselor.

Martha Tennyson has worked for H.L. Moe for more than 16 years. A graduate from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, her responsibilities include overseeing all financial duties. She manages a department of four in our accounting division as well as maintains contact with our banks, insurance companies, bonding company and major vendors to ensure financial stability.

Ken Kang has been with H.L. Moe since 2000. He owned and operated his own plumbing business for over 10 years and comes to us with a wealth of industry knowledge. Ken performs all of our Computer Aided Design work and oversees all of the companies change orders. He excels in computer technology for the construction industry and assists the office staff with computer integration in our projects.

Susan Santiago received her associates degree from East Los Angeles College and formerly worked with Union Bank of California. She came to Moe 1992 and has worked in several capacities including safety management, payroll administration and manpower management. She currently is in charge of the accounts receivable and construction administration for the new construction division. She is the also the director of human resources.

John Williams serves as the assistant Vice President, Project Management for Moe Contracting Services. He received his Bachelors Degree in History from Trinity Christian College in Chicago. He has a Master in Divinity (M.Div) and Philosophy from Fuller Seminary and he received his MBA from Pepperdine University in 1994. John started with Moe in 1974 and then went to work for Familian Corporation in their irrigation division. He returned to Moe in 2006 and is responsible for making sure that all of our new construction projects stay on time and budget. His industry relationships and knowledge of pricing, lead time and material keep Moe Plumbing competitive and responsive to our customer needs.

Adam Davis joined Moe Plumbing full time in 2002 after working part time for several years while he was a student. With a degree in business management, Adam has learned the operation from the ground-up, working in almost all major roles. He currently is the Estimating Manager overseeing the bidding of all major projects for the new construction division. As part of the executive committee, he participates in the forecasting and strategic planning for the company while assisting in the management of the day-to-day operations of the new construction division.

Taylor has been with Moe full time since 2002 after studying at Colorado State University. During his time with the company, he has served in many positions, learning the business from the ground-up. Today Taylor manages the rental, purchasing and coordination of the equipment across the multiple job sites. He also manages the material purchasing department and is a member of the company's executive committee.

Rob Tedei brings more than 35 years of plumbing experience to Moe. He began his career as an apprentice and worked his way up to a journeyman plumber, foreman and now as a Superintendent. In his role, Rob coordinates between the project foreman, crew and the office to maintain schedules and budgets for each project. He oversees the performance of each crew to ensure professionalism and quality at each step of the way.

Paul Hughes began in 1976 with Moe Plumbing after studying mechanical engineering at UCLA. He began as a laborer and then as a plumbing apprentice. He has since become a journeyman plumber, served as a CAD detailer, Coordination Supervisor and a Field Superintendent. As a LEED Certified Superintendent, he is responsible for managing the various projects ensuring that the field, office and the other contractors are coordinated. Overall, he ensures that the Moe team operates effectively and efficiently to complete the job on time.

Dan Russell comes to Moe with a wealth of experience working in the risk management arena. Since joining the company, Dan has developed and managed the company¹s health and safety program. He provides training and education to the company¹s employees to help identify and mitigate risk both in the office on the jobsite. Additionally, Dan is a project manager assisting our field with staying on schedule and within budget. Dan graduated with a degree in Communication from Seattle Pacific University.

Nicole Davis brings a wealth of finance and accounting knowledge to Moe. She joined the company in 2008 after serving as the Director of Finance for Pacific/Bowers Ambulance Company. Prior to that, Nicole owned and operated an Outback Steakhouse. Currently Nicole manages the service business budgets, accounts receivable for the service business as well as conducts audits for the company's merger and acquisition prospects. She received a degree in Hotel Administration & Accounting from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Erik Okland began at Moe in 2007 and brings a wealth of experience in the finance administration arena. He assists in the accounts payable and receivable for all divisions within the company. Prior to joining Moe, Okland spent fourteen years in the escrow business, including being a founding partner at Old Town Escrow in Pasadena. Okland received his business administration degree from University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Jaclyn comes to Moe after serving as an account director for Thunder Factory, a national integrated marketing firm where she led the public relations and marketing efforts for companies ranging from start-up businesses to international Fortune 100 companies, including McKesson Corp, Match.com and Vonage. She currently manages the marketing and communication efforts for both the new construction and service businesses. She has a degree in Public Relations and Marketing from Pepperdine University.
