| Challenge: | The Ocean Institute requires water to be pumped from the ocean and into the facility's tanks and aquariums. The water must go through a process to remove the foam that is natural in ocean water without disturbing the water's other characteristics making it suitable for the sea life in the aquariums. The highly specialized process is found in only one other facility in Southern California. |
| Moe Solution: | Moe Plumbing, along with the project's engineers visited a similar aquarium and incorporated the technology into the development of the Ocean Institute. |
| Outcome: | Moe created a sophisticated system which is able to circulate the water between the ocean and the facility with no negative environmental impact. This project showcases Moe's ability to work with engineers to develop intricate systems that go beyond standard plumbing installations. |
