After nearly 70 years of wide public use, the Griffith Observatory closed
its doors for a renovation. Because of the historical nature of the facility, Moe was selected
based on the specialized workmanship and experience in working within similar
environments.

Moe has a history of taking extreme measures to ensure the least invasive
process when renovating an existing structure, especially a historical building. The crew
worked hand in hand with the general contractor as well as the curators to ensure that the
plumbing was upgraded to meet today's standards, without losing the historical charm.

The project was completed on time and was successfully reopened to the public in November of 2006.
