Biography

Mike Davis is the president and owner of Moe Plumbing Services (CA Lic. # 254678), a title he earned when he purchased the company from his father, Charles Davis. Since stepping into this leadership role, Davis has greatly expanded the business from a small, family-owned business to one of the top plumbing contractors and service providers in Southern California.

Through the acquisition of 20 plumbing businesses, Davis has significantly developed the service and repair division. His combination of both new construction and service / repair under one umbrella has proven to be a successful, but unusual business model in the industry. Additionally, he has grown the new construction division, focusing on projects that utilize the company’s expertise with specialty piping systems. The recent focus has been on large hospitals, prominent retail centers, amusement park attractions, and research laboratories.

Incorporated in 1964, Moe has consistently been recognized for excellence in the areas of safety and performance, including being recognized by the LA Times as “LA’s Best,” an arena which was mostly held by national brands and chains.

Davis serves as a trustee for the National Association-Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association, Union Affiliated Contractors (NAPHCC UAC) and is a member of the board of directors for the California Plumbing & Mechanical Contractors Association (CPMCA), Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) for UA Local # 761, and American Society of Plumbing Engineer (ASPE). Additionally, he is on the Piping Industry Progress and Education (PIPE) committee. He has previously served as a trustee for the Southern California Pipe Trades Council.

An active member of the community, Davis is a member of the La Canada Presbyterian Church Para Professional Psychological Counseling Team as well as a session member for the La Canada Presbyterian Church. He has served on the boards for the LA Burn Center, Glendale Family YMCA, and the Glendale Baseball Association. He also served as the Lieutenant Governor for the Kiwanis International Division 3.

A graduate of Biola University, Mike lives with his wife Lynette in Glendale, California.
