About

Paul Hughes began in 1976 with Moe Plumbing Services after studying mechanical engineering at UCLA. He began his tenure with us as a plumbing apprentice. He has since become a journeyman plumber, served as a CAD detailer, coordination supervisor, and currently as Superintendent. He oversees and manages the company’s building information modeling efforts (BIM). As a Certified LEED Associate Professional Building Design and Construction Superintendent, he has managed several LEED Gold and Platinum projects for Los Angeles Unified School District, Los Angeles City College District and many other public and private projects.

CAD Experience

Two dimensional detailing and coordination starting in 2005 at Los Robles Medical Center, AutoCAD MEP
Three dimensional modeling, detailing and coordination starting in 2009 at CSUN, Science 5. ACAD MEP +TSI to include experience with Revit and Navisworks (related 3D modeling and clash detecting programs)

Paul manages a department of three detailers. Overall, Paul ensures that the Moe team operates effectively and efficiently through project completion.
