PROJECT DETAILS

• This project called for the installation of a unique piping system that only expert contractors are qualified to do. Our professionals successfully installed the piping system on time, with no re-work or revisions necessary.

CHALLENGE

• The challenge was to install an unusual piping system with which very few contractors are familiar. The welded steel air lines were to be installed underground from the central plant to the building that housed the King Kong attraction. The large bore pipe supplied compressed air for special effects. Because of the extremely limited space available to house the system, everything had to be placed precisely at the correct elevation and location with less than ½-inch tolerances.

MOE SOLUTION

• Careful planning, sequencing, computer detailing, and quality workmanship allowed the pipe to be installed as designed with no re-work or revisions to the system.

OUTCOME

• These air lines were installed concurrent with the construction of the new building that housed the attraction on an active studio back lot and remained on schedule for the length of the project. These systems were put into service and preformed as intended.
